1. Contact forms / Enquiries
If you contact GoBikeGo through the contact form on the website, you will be asked for your name, email address and possibly phone number, if required.

2. Events
You may be asked for personal information such as name, email address and cycling interests if you register interest at events that we attend.

3. Booking information
When you book a ride or event with GoBikeGo, you will provide information to us in order for us to fulfil our service to you. This may include name, address, email address, telephone number, gender, date of birth, cycling experience, dietary requirements and medical information.

4. Legitimate lead source activity
We may collect personal information from publicly available sources such as social media.

We may use your personal information to:

  • Fulfil any contract entered between you and us, and to provide you with the information and services that you request from GoBikeGo

We do not ask you to send us or disclose any sensitive personal information relating to racial or ethnic origin, political opinion, religion or other beliefs, criminal background or trade union membership.

However if you sign up to a cycle tour with us, we will ask for your date of birth, dietary information and medical history which enables us to ensure your requirements are safely met.

We do not share your personal information with any third parties, unless it is essential for our service provision or contract with you to do so. You will be notified if this is the case.

How long we retain your data


If you leave a comment on a blog post, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely.

If you make an enquiry through the website, website administrators can see the information that you provide. We will delete it completely after a reasonable length of time.

With regards to personal information that has been supplied in order to fulfil a service or contract with you and the information is no longer required, we will delete it completely after a reasonable length of time.

What rights you have over your data


You can request in writing to receive a file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. We will aim to respond to this request within 21 days, or sooner if possible.
